Namasté and Welcome

Hello fellow foodies,

Welcome! Lets cook, create, relax and most of all be inspired and have fun!

I am a firm believer in sustainable and respectful use of produce; seasonal, homegrown, natural, organic and where possible using as much of the produce as possible (without being eccentric!😊🌿🌶️). For me, scouring the markets for seasonal produce, growing an edible garden and creating new dishes is therapeutic and meditative; resulting in endless inventive home cooked dishes to be shared with friends and family.

Home base Melbourne Australia is beautifully rich with a cocktail of cultures, giving us access to exotic ingredients, fresh local produce, authentic cuisines from all over the world, amazing wines and of course the best coffee in the world! my humble opinion!!

This site is an evolving diary of food ideas, tips and tricks which I am happy to share 📖. Inspiration starting from home base, spanning out to travels, cultures, people, restaurants, many mums home kitchens and endless good eating.

It is a visual guide to creating dishes at your own pace, images illustrate how a dish may look at key stages, I have kick started the basic recipes based on my personal taste. You may choose to use the recipes as they are, however, there are also options, variations and suggestions to create a new dish. One technique can go in multiple directions; even changing a dish to vegan, vegetarian, low fat, gluten free, dairy free, FODMAP friendly etc. Its a recipe for creating new exciting personalized dishes!!.

Oh….did I mention my passion for cooking led me to enter an SBS cooking show! The Chefs Line (season 2) Indian week. To my shock and surprise, I won!!📺🏆 Hope you enjoy my creations and images.

Cheers 🙏🏼
